Nempra Measure Lite adds a length x width calculator to any simple WooCommerce product. As the customer chooses dimensions, the price updates instantly on the product page, calculated as length x width x the product’s normal WooCommerce price per square meter.

The plugin uses standard WooCommerce hooks only. It has no theme-specific integration, so it works with any properly-coded WooCommerce theme.

What’s included in Lite

  • Length x width area calculation, live on the product page.
  • Works with simple (single-variant) products.
  • Server-side re-validation at checkout, so the price shown always matches the price charged.
  • Existing settings and product data from a supported legacy measurement plugin are read automatically as a migration fallback — nothing is deleted.

Lite and Pro

Lite is a complete, unrestricted calculator for simple products — it is not a limited trial of Pro. Nempra Measure Pro is a separate plugin for stores that also need:

  • Variable products (multiple options per product, each with its own measurement rules).
  • Per-variation measurement overrides.
  • Advanced min/max length and step rules per product.
  • Priority support and updates.

Pro is a drop-in upgrade: it shares its settings and product-metadata schema with Lite, so switching plugins does not require reconfiguring your products.

Instalacija

  1. Upload the plugin files to /wp-content/plugins/nempra-measure-lite, or install it through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‚Plugins‘ screen in WordPress.
  3. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active — Nempra Measure Lite requires it.
  4. Open a simple product’s edit screen and set your length range, step size and width(s) under the Measurement tab.
  5. Save the product. The calculator appears automatically on its product page.

Does this work with variable products?

Not in Lite. Lite is built for simple (single-variant) products. Variable-product support, with per-variation overrides, is a Nempra Measure Pro feature.

I’m migrating from another measurement calculator plugin. Is that safe?

Yes. On activation, Nempra Measure Lite detects the old plugin’s settings and product metadata and reads them as a starting point — your existing configuration is never deleted. Never run both pricing plugins active at the same time: Lite detects the old plugin and will not boot its own pricing engine while it remains active. We recommend testing on a staging copy first: deactivate the old plugin, activate this one, confirm a sample product still shows its prior configuration, then re-save that product and test the full product page, cart, checkout and order flow before going live.

Will my settings carry over if I upgrade to Pro?

Yes. Pro reads the same settings and product-metadata schema as Lite, so upgrading is a drop-in replacement — no reconfiguration needed.

Does the price shown to the customer match what they’re actually charged?

Yes. The price calculation is re-validated on the server at checkout, using the product’s current configuration — the browser-side number is never trusted on its own.
