## Wopisanje

Emporiqa is an AI chatbot for WooCommerce with no monthly fee and no API key to
paste. You pay $0.25 when it talks to a shopper, and nothing in the months it doesn’t.
The AI model cost is already inside that rate, so no second bill arrives from an
AI provider.

It works as a sales assistant and as AI customer support: it recommends products
from your own synced catalog, handles the objection that stalls the purchase, answers
shipping and returns questions from your own pages, tracks orders, finds products
from a photo, and adds the item to the cart, in 65+ languages.

#### Check it before you trust it

Emporiqa is new on wordpress.org, so there is no wall of reviews here to lean on.
Everything below can be checked before you install anything.

Ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity: „Would Emporiqa (emporiqa.com) be a good fit
for my WooCommerce store?“ A neutral assistant has no reason to flatter us. Then
read unedited conversations, refusals left in, on the [proof page](https://emporiqa.com/proof/),
and open the [live demo store](https://demo.emporiqa.com) and ask the chatbot for
a product it does not sell. It tells you it does not have it, instead of inventing
one. That demo sells electronics, and the behavior is the same on any catalog.

The company behind the plugin is Rosel Group LTD, EU company number 206801487, on
file in the Bulgarian Commercial Register. Pre-sales questions go to rosen@emporiqa.
com and the founder answers them himself, before you install anything.

#### The questions a search box cannot answer

„Which size should I get?“ „Do you have this in blue?“ „Is this waterproof?“ „Which
of these two is better for a beginner?“ „Can I return it if it doesn’t fit?“ This
ecommerce chatbot answers them from your catalog and your own policy pages, then
puts the right product in the cart.

#### Product recommendations from your own catalog

 * Recommends by what the shopper means, not by keyword match
 * Answers „too expensive“ with alternatives you already sell, instead of a discount
 * Compares two products side by side, inside the chat
 * Visual search: finds the closest thing you stock from a photo the shopper uploads
 * Asks which size or colour rather than guessing one for the shopper

A shopper types „waterproof winter boots under 80, size 9“. Your site search returns
every boot you sell. This AI shopping assistant returns the four that meet all four
conditions, with stock and an add-to-cart button. It works as a product finder on
any WooCommerce catalog: fashion and apparel, electronics, furniture, beauty, pet
supplies, sporting goods, auto parts, and B2B or wholesale ranges.

#### Cart and checkout, inside the conversation

The chatbot adds the item to the WooCommerce cart, updates quantities, and sends
the shopper to your checkout without the buying moment leaving the page.

The add to cart is not the chatbot describing an action. The item is placed in your
WooCommerce cart by the plugin, with your store’s own stock and variation checks
applied, and the confirmation the shopper reads is built from what landed in the
cart. It cannot tell a shopper an item is in the cart when it is not.

#### Customer support, not only sales

 * Answers shipping, returns, payment and policy questions from the pages you sync
 * Looks up an order status for a customer who gives an order number and the matching
   email
 * Hands the conversation to your team, in full, when a person is needed
 * Reports which chats ended in a purchase, with the revenue attributed to chat
 * Rates each conversation, so low-rated chats surface on their own

#### Live chat when a person is needed

The chatbot answers on its own. When a shopper asks for a person, or raises a refund
or a complaint, your team is alerted in Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google
Chat or email, and any team member can open that same conversation and reply inside
it. The shopper stays in the chat and sees when someone joins, with a wait time
based on how quickly your store has answered before.

Set your business hours and your timezone. Outside them the chatbot says you are
away and takes an email or a phone number, so nobody is left waiting for a reply
that is not coming. Every team member is included, with no per-seat fee.

#### Try it on your own catalog before your shoppers do

Once your store is connected, the Playground in your dashboard lets you chat against
your own catalog before the widget goes live on your storefront. Ask it the questions
your shoppers ask you. You can switch language, edit the widget wording as you go,
and reopen recent conversations to read how it answered.

#### Flat, predictable pricing, and no API keys

One rate, published: $0 a month plus $0.25 per conversation. You don’t open an account
with an AI provider, paste a key, or watch a token meter, because the AI model cost
is already inside that rate.

You start with $25 of signup credit (about 100 conversations on us) and no card
required. A $59/month cap is on by default and you move it yourself from the billing
dashboard, so the bill cannot run away while you sleep. Unlimited team members,
no per-seat fee. If the chatbot never talks to a shopper, you never pay. Deactivate
the plugin and the chat widget is gone from your storefront immediately.

There is no plan to be downgraded later and no annual contract to renew. Enterprise
option for catalogs over 30,000 products. [Full pricing](https://emporiqa.com/pricing/),
and [where the price comes from](https://emporiqa.com/pricing/why/).

#### Setup

Install the plugin, then click _Connect to Emporiqa_ in Settings and Emporiqa. You
sign in or create a free account, pick your store, and land back in WordPress connected,
with no credentials to copy between tabs. One more click sends your catalog, and
the chatbot goes live on your storefront once that first sync finishes.

#### Built for WooCommerce

 * All product types: simple, variable, grouped, external
 * WooCommerce HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage)
 * WPML and Polylang for multilingual stores
 * Multi-currency: WOOCS, WPML Multi-Currency, WooCommerce Payments, Aelia Currency
   Switcher
 * In-chat cart with stock validation, order tracking, and conversion tracking
 * 20+ filters and WP-CLI commands for developers ([documentation](https://emporiqa.com/docs/woocommerce/))

The same e-commerce chatbot also runs on Drupal Commerce, Magento, PrestaShop, Shopware
and Sylius, from one account and one dashboard.

#### Your data, and your customers‘ data

Emporiqa is operated by an EU company under GDPR. Shopper conversations are not
used to train AI models. Traffic between your store and Emporiqa is signed with
HMAC-SHA256, and the connect handshake uses PKCE, so no credentials travel through
a URL. The chat widget loads outside your checkout: if Emporiqa is ever unreachable,
your storefront and checkout keep working and the chat bubble does not appear. Your
catalog stays yours, and leaving is one deactivation.

#### Who is behind it

Emporiqa is operated by Rosel Group LTD, a company registered in the European Union
under company number 206801487, which you can look up in the Bulgarian Commercial
Register. Your shopper conversations are not used to train AI models. The plugin
is built by Rosen Hristov, who spent fifteen years building for the web, including
enterprise platforms for names like Vodafone and Ferrero, and is now an AI engineer.
He answers pre-sales and onboarding email himself at rosen@emporiqa.com.

#### Third-Party Service

This plugin connects to [Emporiqa](https://emporiqa.com), an external service, in
the following ways:

 * **Connect handshake**: When you click _Connect to Emporiqa_, your browser is
redirected to `https://emporiqa.com/connect/start` for authentication. After
you confirm the store on the Emporiqa side, your site receives a one-time code
and exchanges it server-to-server (signed with PKCE) for a connection secret.
   No credentials cross the URL.
 * **Webhook sync**: Product and page data is sent to the Emporiqa API (`https://
emporiqa.com/webhooks/sync/`) when content changes or during manual sync operations.
Data is authenticated via HMAC-SHA256 signatures.
 * **Chat widget**: An external JavaScript file is loaded from `https://emporiqa.
com/chat/embed/` on all public-facing pages (when a Store ID is configured) to
   display the chatbot.
 * **Shopper messages and photo uploads**: What a shopper types in the chatbot,
and any photo they upload for visual search, is sent to Emporiqa and processed
by its AI provider to produce an answer and match it against your catalog. This
content is not used to train AI models.
 * **Order tracking**: Emporiqa may send requests to your site’s REST API to look
up order status on behalf of customers.

An Emporiqa account is required. By using this plugin you agree to the Emporiqa
[Terms of Service](https://emporiqa.com/terms/) and [Privacy Policy](https://emporiqa.com/privacy/).

### Keeping your catalog in sync

Price, stock, description, image and status changes flow to Emporiqa automatically
as you make them, queued with retries so a brief outage does not lose them.

A few edits happen outside WooCommerce’s product save events: bulk CSV or REST imports,
renaming a category or attribute, changing currency or tax rates, or adding a language.
After one of those, click **Sync All** once on the Sync tab, or run `wp emporiqa
sync-all`. The full list is in the [documentation](https://emporiqa.com/docs/woocommerce/).

## HSP

### Do I need an OpenAI API key or my own AI account?

No. You do not create an account with an AI provider, paste an API key, or manage
tokens or usage limits. The AI model cost is already inside the per-conversation
price, so there is no second bill.

### What happens when the $25 credit runs out?

You’ll get an email before the credit is exhausted, and again when the next billing
month’s spend approaches your $59/month default cap. If no card is on file when
the credit runs out, the widget pauses on your storefront. Your store keeps working,
but the chat doesn’t answer until you add a card. The cap is a hard ceiling: spending
stops when you hit it, and you control whether to raise it or not from the billing
dashboard.

### What happens if the AI chatbot says something wrong?

You can read every conversation in the dashboard, and low-rated ones are flagged
automatically, so you find out from the transcript rather than from a customer complaint.
Product facts follow your synced catalog, so prices and stock track your store.
When the chatbot isn’t sure, it says so and offers to hand off to your team instead
of guessing.

### Can the chatbot recommend products, or does it only answer questions?

It recommends. Ask it for „a gift for a runner under 60“ and it returns products
you stock, with the reason it picked them, then offers to add one to the cart. AI
product recommendations come from your synced catalog, including variations, stock,
and price.

### Does this replace the WooCommerce search box?

No, it sits alongside it. Your search box matches words; the chatbot understands
a sentence with several conditions in it and answers in the shopper’s own language.
Shoppers who know the product name still use search.

### Can it handle customer support, or only sales?

Both. It answers shipping, returns, payment, and policy questions from the pages
you sync, and it can look up an order status for a customer. When a request needs
a person, such as a refund, it hands over to your team with the conversation attached.

### Is this AI chatbot free?

The plugin is free, and you can install it and connect your store without a card.
The Emporiqa service behind it is pay-as-you-go: $25 of signup credit (about 100
conversations on us), then $0.25 per conversation with a monthly cap you set. If
the chatbot never talks to a shopper, you never pay.

### How is this different from a live chat plugin?

Live chat routes a shopper to a person, so it answers when someone is at the keyboard.
This chatbot answers on its own from your synced catalog, recommends products, handles
objections, and only brings in your team when a person is genuinely needed. You
can run both.

### I don’t see Store ID or Connection Secret. Where do they come from?

You don’t need them for the one-click flow. In Settings Emporiqa, click **Connect
to Emporiqa**. You’ll sign in on emporiqa.com, pick a store, and the plugin receives
the connection details for you. If you’d rather paste them yourself, expand _Edit
credentials manually_ on the same settings page. The Store ID and Connection Secret
are in your Emporiqa dashboard under Settings Store Integration.

### Does one-click connect work on HTTP sites?

One-click connect requires HTTPS, because the connection details are exchanged through
a signed handshake back to your site. If your store runs on plain HTTP, expand _Edit
credentials manually_ on the settings page and paste the Store ID and Connection
Secret from your Emporiqa dashboard. Both flows land you in the same place.

### Will the AI chatbot quote a product I don’t sell, or a price I changed yesterday?

Ask it for something you don’t stock and it says so, instead of inventing a product.
Prices, stock, variations, and policy pages come from what your site syncs, and
they update via webhooks as you change them. When the chatbot can’t answer with
confidence, it tells the shopper and offers to hand off to your team. You can read
unedited conversations, refusals included, on the [proof page](https://emporiqa.com/proof/),
then open the live demo and ask it yourself.

### What happens when a shopper asks the chatbot something my team can’t answer at midnight?

The chatbot hands off with the full conversation attached. You can configure the
handoff target in your Emporiqa dashboard (email to a team inbox, or a form the
shopper fills in). The shopper isn’t left waiting on a human; they get a response
right away.

### How do I turn the chatbot off?

Deactivate the plugin from your WordPress Plugins screen. The chat widget disappears
from your storefront immediately. Your synced products stay on the Emporiqa side
until you delete the store there, so you can reactivate later without re-syncing.

### Does the chatbot work on multilingual stores (Polylang, WPML)?

Yes. The plugin automatically detects Polylang and WPML, and syncs content in all
configured languages. Languages are auto-detected on activation.

### How do I do the initial sync?

After connecting, the Sync tab shows a green welcome card with a **Send my catalog**
button. Click it to send your products and pages. Or use the _Sync All_ button in
Settings Emporiqa Sync tab at any time, or run `wp emporiqa sync-all` via WP-CLI.
After the initial sync, changes are sent automatically in real-time.

### Can I control which products get synced?

Yes. Use the `emporiqa_should_sync_product` filter:

    ```
    add_filter( 'emporiqa_should_sync_product', function( $should_sync, $product ) {
        if ( $product->get_price() <= 0 ) {
            return false;
        }
        return $should_sync;
    }, 10, 2 );
    ```

### What post types can I sync as pages?

By default, the `page` post type is synced. You can configure additional public
post types (posts, custom post types) in Settings Emporiqa under „Pages and posts
to include“.

### Does the chatbot plugin support WooCommerce HPOS?

Yes. The plugin declares compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage(
Custom Order Tables).

### How does order tracking work?

The plugin exposes a REST API endpoint that Emporiqa calls when a customer asks
about their order. Requests are authenticated automatically using your connection
secret.

### Does the chatbot’s visual search work with any product?

Yes. The chatbot accepts a photo upload, describes what it sees (color, material,
category, distinctive features), and searches your catalog using that description.
Works best for products with photos that show the item clearly. The shopper doesn’t
need special tags on your products. The visual search runs through the same catalog
you already sync.

### Where do the chatbot’s answers come from?

Your synced store content: products, variations, prices, stock, and the pages you
choose to sync, such as shipping, returns, and FAQ. Product facts come from that
catalog, not from the model’s training data. If something isn’t in what you synced,
the chatbot says so rather than filling the gap.

### How much does the chatbot cost?

The plugin is free. This WooCommerce chatbot is pay-as-you-go: you pay only when
it talks to a shopper. $0/month base + $0.25/conversation. New accounts get $25
of signup credit (about 100 conversations on us), no card required at signup. There
is no monthly plan and no free trial. The $59 figure is a spending cap, not a fee:
it is the default ceiling on what you can be charged in a month, and you raise,
lower, or remove it from the billing dashboard. A month with 40 conversations costs
$10, not $59. Enterprise option for catalogs over 30,000 products. Full pricing
at [emporiqa.com/pricing/](https://emporiqa.com/pricing/).

### Is this a good fit for my store?

Good fit if your shoppers have to choose between similar products on size, fit,
compatibility, or specs, if the same pre-sales questions keep arriving by email,
or if you sell across borders and need answers in the shopper’s own language. Less
good if you sell impulse items at low order values, or if a shopper can already
pick the right product without asking anything. If your main goal is ticket routing
with CRM sync and agent workflows, a helpdesk product suits you better than this
one.

### What will it cost at my traffic level?

Cost follows traffic, not revenue. About 3 in 100 visitors open the chat, so 40,000
monthly visitors works out to roughly 1,200 conversations, about $300, and you would
raise the $59 default cap to keep the chat live all month. Budget from the per-conversation
rate rather than from the default cap. A browse-heavy store with low conversion
pays the most and gains the least.

### Can a bot or a competitor burn through my monthly cap?

Message rate limits apply per IP address and per conversation, so one source cannot
run your bill up unchecked. The cap is a hard ceiling: spending stops when you reach
it, and raising it is your decision. If you think abuse hit your account, email
rosen@emporiqa.com.

### Can I prove the chatbot increased sales?

Partly, and you should know the limit before you rely on the number. The dashboard
shows revenue from shoppers who used the chat and then bought. Those shoppers were
already more interested than average, so the figure shows a correlation and not
proven lift. There is no built-in holdout mode yet. If you want a defensible number,
run the chat on part of your traffic and compare against the rest in your own analytics.

### Can I stop it from discussing certain topics, or force exact wording?

Not yet. There is no topic blocklist and no way to pin an exact answer. What does
constrain it: it answers from your synced catalog and pages, and it declines what
it cannot ground there instead of filling the gap. You can watch that behavior and
try to break it at [emporiqa.com/proof/](https://emporiqa.com/proof/).

### Which WooCommerce product types are supported?

Simple, variable, grouped, and external products. Subscription, booking, and composite
or bundle types added by third-party extensions are not specially supported.

### Do you have SOC 2, ISO 27001, or an SLA?

No. On pay-as-you-go there is no service level agreement, and there is no SOC 2
or ISO 27001 certification. What does exist: webhooks signed with HMAC-SHA256, PKCE
on the connect handshake, encryption at rest, rate limits, publicly listed subprocessors,
an EU company under GDPR, and no training on your data. An SLA and dedicated support
are Enterprise terms. On pay-as-you-go the founder answers support email himself,
normally within one business day.

### If I cancel, what happens to my data?

Deactivate the plugin and the widget is gone from your storefront immediately. Chat
history is deleted after 90 days on a rolling basis. There is no conversation export
yet, so save any transcripts you need before they age out. Your catalog was never
ours: it stays in WooCommerce.

### You are a new plugin with few installs. Why trust it on a live store?

Fair question, and the install count is public, so there is no point arguing with
it. Two things reduce the risk. The plugin runs no customer-facing logic of its
own: if Emporiqa is unreachable, the chat bubble does not appear and your storefront
and checkout carry on as normal. And the source is GPL, so you can read it before
you install it. For answer quality, read the unedited demo transcripts and rerun
any of them yourself at [emporiqa.com/proof/](https://emporiqa.com/proof/).

### Does the chatbot slow down my site?

The widget script loads asynchronously in the footer, so it does not block your
page from rendering. The chat interface itself downloads only when a shopper opens
the bubble. No language-model call runs inside your server: that all happens on
Emporiqa’s side.

## Protokol změnow

#### 1.1.9

 * Fix: a full sync now finalizes only when every batch succeeds. A sync tells Emporiqa
to drop items it did not see, so if a batch failed on the way (network or server
error), items still present in your store could be dropped from the chat’s index.
The sync now stops and asks you to re-run it, and the rule is enforced on the
Emporiqa side as well as in the admin. Nothing in your WooCommerce store was
ever modified; this affected only the chat’s index.
 * Fix: starting a „Sync All“ where the pages part failed to initialize no longer
finalizes the empty products sync (which would have removed the entire product
   catalog from Emporiqa).
 * Fix: variable products with parent-managed stock no longer over-report their
quantity (a product with 4 variations sharing parent stock 5 reported 20). The
shared pool is now counted once.
 * Fix: decimal quantities (stores selling by weight/measure via a decimal-quantity
plugin) are no longer truncated to whole numbers in cart operations, and a product
with a fractional quantity left (e.g. 0.5 kg) is no longer reported as out of
   stock.
 * Changed: the one-click Connect flow now requires the same administrator capability
as the settings page it configures (was accessible to shop managers).
 * Compatibility: verified against WooCommerce 10.9 and WordPress 7.0.
 * No action required after upgrading.

#### 1.1.8

 * Fix: variable products whose only sellable variations are on backorder are no
longer reported as out of stock. The parent now aggregates availability with
a three-state ladder (available, then backorder, then out of stock), matching
the per-variation availability event so the chat never refuses a sellable variable
   product.
 * Fix: grouped products whose child items are all out of stock now report their
real lowest price instead of 0. Price is derived from all children, not just
   in-stock ones.
 * Fix: a variable product’s parent now reports the lowest variation price as its
headline „from“ price (was an arbitrary variation). The full low-to-high range
is shown by Emporiqa from the variation data.
 * Changed: removed three payload fields that the Emporiqa server does not use (`
price_min`, `price_max`, `prices_include_tax`). The price range is derived from
   variations server-side; no merchant-visible change.

Older entries (1.0.0 through 1.1.7) are in changelog.txt, shipped with the plugin.
